Scott Gaulden

Welcome to Simmons Floorcovering and Total Renovations – I’m Scott Gaulden the owner. I’ve now owned Simmons for over 19 years. I’m proud of the legacy of customer service and satisfaction we have built and intend to maintain our high standards.

I have an MBA from The University of North Texas and prior to owning Simmons I worked in sales and marketing for several Fortune 500 companies.

I have been married to my smoking hot trophy wife for 35 years and together we have raised 3 grown children. When not at work I enjoy biking, scuba diving and watching high school football games. I am also active in my church and specifically work with families of special needs children.

Lisa Bonneau

Hello, my name is Lisa Bonneau.

I moved to Denton in 2019 and am the Operations Director at Simmons Floorcovering. Here at Simmons our core focus is to provide our clients with the best possible home improvement experience. I look forward to helping our customers find the perfect options for their uniquely individual tastes and needs.

I was born and raised in Chicago and lived in San Diego for 17 years where I started my career in the flooring and home building industry. While living in San Diego and Texas, I’ve accumulated over 20 years in residential, commercial, restoration, and multi-family projects. I also have an extensive career in the arts and an eye for design. When I am not helping families find their perfect selections for their flooring or remodel projects, I am creating one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry as a self-taught metalsmith and designer.

Scott Briggs

My name is Scott Briggs, and I am a new member of the Simmons Team. I am a native Texan, and my friends call me Briggs for short.

I’ve been in the Construction business for over 20 years. My spare time is consumed by horses, guitars, and working on my ranch.

James Stopar

Hello, my name is James and I am a Project manager at Simmons Total Renovations. I have over 20 years of experience in insurance restoration and remodeling. I enjoy helping people achieve their visions for remodeling and bringing back the feeling of normalcy after a loss has occurred to a property and all of the inconvenience that comes with that process. My specialty is working with insurance carriers to speed up the recovery of daily life and getting the project back to like it never happened.

I enjoy playing golf and spending time with friends, family and my customers.

John Rudolph

Hi, I’m John Rudolph, even though I’m new to the Simmons team, I’m not new to the flooring & interior refinishing industry. My experience in flooring began at the Sherwin Williams Company and includes sales & management of several flooring stores. I’ve lived in several areas including Las Vegas, Nevada, where I was president of a multi-million-dollar flooring corporation.

Most recently, I was the owner of Texas Flooring & Interiors in the DFW area for over 10 years. My resume also includes being a columnist for high-end home magazines, where I’ve worked to help many homeowners make the best floor buying decisions for their lifestyles and environment.

Josh Holden

Hi! I am Josh Holden, a Project Manager that has been with Simmons for 2.5 years now.

I started here at Simmons as the delivery driver and warehouse coordinator, which allowed me to get a better understanding of the flooring and remodeling industry before managing it.

I also just recently got married to my beautiful wife, Keila. We enjoy being outside with our dogs, fishing, hiking, and traveling as much as possible when we have time.

Jose Enciso

My name is Jose Enciso, and I was born & raised in Dallas Texas. I graduated from Naaman Forest High School in Garland TX. My biggest inspirations are my daughters, 7 and 5, and my fiancée. During my free time, we usually spend our time taking our kids to the park, swimming or spending time with family, we love watching movies together, and listening to music.

I started as a helper/installer, but I always wanted to move up. When I was offered an opportunity to start as a project coordinator/manager, the whole thing became my passion. I learn something new everyday. Nothing makes me happier than to remodel homes/businesses and my client’s faces when their projects are completed.

I’ve now been with Simmons for over 2 years and have proudly sold over 2 million dollars and helped countless customers with their home projects.

Diana Neri

Hi, I’m Diana! While I am originally from Houston, my career has taken me from Houston to San Antonio and now Denton. Although, my 12 year background in finance brought me to Dallas, I found a new passion here for new home construction, remodel and design. I have over a year experience in the flooring & construction business, and I have enjoyed coordinating my projects from start to finish.

When I am not working, I enjoy being outside walking trails with my weenie dog, running a 5k or playing soccer on Sunday mornings. I also play indoor soccer during the week occasionally.

Kolby Torres

Hello! My name is Kolby Torres, and I am a proud new member of the Simmons Floor Covering team. I was born and raised in Denton, TX. I graduated from Denton Ryan High School where I enjoyed playing football. Some hobbies of mine are going to car shows, spending time with friends & family outdoors, and watching the Cowboys games. I am the new Warehouse Coordinator and look forward to providing excellent customer service!

Wendy Hill

Hello! My name is Wendy Hill, and I am the Logistics/BOH Manager here at Simons Floorcovering & Total Renovations. Our Mission here at Simmons is simple: Improve the customer experience by employing professionals across all aspects of our company: from our Project Managers to our Warehouse Coordinator, to our installers and installation teams, to ensure a quality experience for every customer, every job, every time. I enjoy being a part of our customers’ journey for their home projects.

There’s a family debate about how Texan I truly am since I wasn’t born here. However, I’ve lived in the DFW area 98% of my life, so I classify myself as one. I have been married to my wonderful husband for over 19 years now. We have 2 fur babies that are completely spoiled, along with our godson and niece. Life outside of work is filled with hanging out with family & friends, watching movies, reading, gardening, and cooking/baking. Photography is my passion, and I continue to enjoy creating & designing images for my clients.

My insurance was pretty non responsive so the process took a lot longer than anticipated but James was very helpful and was able to speak to insurance and helped me maneuver and understand their estimates and fight for the correct amount of money I was owed.
